The stainless steel face is cut to size and then attached to the tile base using Evode’ special adhesive. In so doing a dramatic edge and contemporary style is created by this permanent bond. Installing them involves a simple standard porcelain adhesive and a wet saw for cutting them. Be aware that when cutting metal wall and floor tiles you should always wear safety glasses and gloves if you are cutting them by yourself. It is quite straightforward and we have offered a step by step guide as to how to cut them. However there are plenty of carpenters and similar tradesmen that you can find if you are not up to the task or if you simply don’t have the time. They are very easy to install using regular tile adhesive and they can be cut easily too with a standard score and snap cutter. Glazed on the reverse side, every tile is permanently protected in terms of its colour, and it also has the effect of enhancing the depth and luminosity of the glass. What you can be certain of, is that no-one else will be able to produce the same affect as you, because every piece of mosaic is entirely unique having been hand crafted from shells that have been collected from river beds.
